These four Wellsville HS lifters entered the West Franklin Powerlifting Meet on Saturday, 2/20/2010. Without any experience in powerlifting meet competition, they competed against 300 experienced lifters representing upwards to 20 plus schools.

These kids should be commended.  It took some courage to enter a copmetition, knowing that the majority of the entrants from the other schools had significantly more meet experience and, more importantly, had been strength training for a more extended period of time.  Great job guys!
