Pregame Discussion

The Wellsville Eagles meet the Frontenac Raiders in a Bi-District playoff game match up  ..... again.

These two teams also met last year in this same Bi-District game.  It wasn't a contest as Wellsville routed the yery young Raiders squad, 61-0.  But this isn't last year's Frontenac.

Frontenac enters the game with a 5-4 record, having faced a very tough schedule (click here for their season results). The Raiders defense may the best unit the Eagles will have faced this season to date. They held a powerful Galena team to 14 points in an earlier game.

This will not be a typical game that Eagles fans have been used to watching these past 2 years.  Tonight, the game might not be decided till the 4th quarter.
